Ugandan Army Chief Deletes Provocative Tweet Threatening to Invade Khartoum

Sudan Events – Follow-up
Uganda’s Army Chief, Muhoozi Museveni, caused a wave of anger and shock after posting a provocative tweet on X (formerly Twitter), in which he discussed invading the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, taking control of it, and ending what he called chaos, with support from the U.S. administration.
Muhoozi, the son of Uganda’s president and head of the army, deleted the provocative tweet hours after posting it.
The Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs demanded an official apology from the Ugandan government for the tweet and called on the African Union, regional, and international organizations to condemn Muhoozi’s remarks regarding Sudan.
