Foreign currency exchange rates against the Sudanese Pound in the parallel market have witnessed a sudden surge due to increased demand for foreign currencies.
Currency traders reported that on Monday, the exchange rate for the U.S. Dollar in the parallel market reached 2,540 Sudanese Pounds. The Saudi Riyal was traded at 675.53 SDG, the UAE Dirham at 692.09 SDG, the Euro at 2,645.83 SDG, and the British Pound at 3,175 SDG. Additionally, the Egyptian Pound was exchanged at 49.91 SDG, the Bahraini Dinar at 6,684.21 SDG, the Qatari Riyal at 699.72 SDG, the Omani Riyal at 6,684.21 SDG, and the Kuwaiti Dinar at 8,193.54 SDG.
