The Anti-Smuggling Directorate in Red Sea State intercepted a large shipment of explosives that was being smuggled into the country. After an intense chase and exchange of gunfire, the smuggling attempt was thwarted.
The acting Director-General of Customs Forces, Major General Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, confirmed that the anti-smuggling units work tirelessly around the clock to protect the economy and combat any threats to the nation’s security and safety.
