Army and “Joint Forces” Deploy Military Reinforcements to the Chad Border

Sudan Events – Agencies
A military source in the Sudanese border city of Tina revealed on Monday the imposition of strict security measures and the deployment of military reinforcements by the Sudanese army and the joint forces of the armed movements across the region.
The source, who preferred to remain anonymous, told Darfur24 that these measures were taken as a precaution against a potential attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on the city, located in North Darfur State. Preparations are underway to repel an expected assault from RSF forces stationed in Kolbus, southeast of Tina.
He added: “The measures include bolstering military reinforcements at checkpoints and gates, including areas such as Jarjaira and other locations near Tina, to respond to potential RSF attacks targeting Tina, Karnoy, and Umbaru.”
