El Fasher: Large Numbers of Militia Flee as “Joint Forces” Vow Pursuit

Sudan Events – Follow-up
The joint forces of the armed movements revealed the mass escape of numerous Rapid Support Forces militia members from operational sites in Khartoum, Darfur, and Al-Jazira.
In a post on Platform (X), Commander Mohamed Adam of the joint forces stated that their forces in El Fasher have shifted from a defensive strategy to offensive operations. He also disclosed the execution of daring operations in the desert front.
Adam confirmed receiving information from sources outside El Fasher city indicating that a large number of Janjaweed elements fled out of fear of being overrun.
He vowed to chase and pursue the militia members, saying, “Fleeing from El Fasher to other areas within Sudan will not spare them from being pursued.” Adam presented them with two options: “surrender or be expelled from Sudan entirely.”
