A number of citizens and traders in states where currency replacement occurred have complained about a shortage of cash, as well as issues with using banking applications.
Reports revealed that banks have reduced the daily withdrawal limit from 200,000 Sudanese Pounds to 100,000, and then to 50,000 Sudanese Pounds. Some banks have apologized for the lack of cash.
Meanwhile, the phenomenon of selling goods with interest has increased significantly, with warnings from religious leaders.
