Saudi Crown Prince: Sudan important country No one Can Neglect it

Held of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Lt. Gen. Abdul Fatah Al-Burhan, and the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, held a bilateral meeting today in which they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and ways to support the prospects for joint cooperation between Khartoum and Riyadh, in a way that serves the interests of the two countries.
Al-Burhan briefed the Saudi Crown Prince on developments in the situation in Sudan, against the backdrop of the rebellion of the terrorist Rapid Support (RSF) militia against the state, which resulted in the targeting of civilians, the killing of defenseless innocents, and the sabotage of vital institutions, installations, and infrastructure projects.
He stressed that despite all these violations committed by this terrorist militia, the government of Sudan responded by sitting with it in the Jeddah podium in order to end the suffering of the Sudanese, and an agreement was reached last May according to which these forces would leave the homes of citizens to agreed upon locations. However, the militia did not comply with that and continued its war on innocent citizens in Khartoum and Darfur.
Al-Burhan renewed Sudan’s commitment to the Jeddah platform as a mechanism to address the Sudanese crisis.
For his part, the Saudi Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom’s support for Sudan and its support for its unity, security and territorial integrity, indicating that Sudan is an important country for the Kingdom, and its stability and cohesion cannot be neglected.
His Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that the Kingdom’s efforts to reach peace in Sudan are a commitment and responsibility towards this brotherly country, stressing that these efforts will continue until they bear fruit.
His Highness also stated that the division or fragmentation of Sudan is a red line for Saudi Arabia, stressing that they look forward to bringing stability and peace to Sudan soon, given the importance Sudan represents in the region and the great goodness, prosperity, growth and development that is promised to it.
