The Executive Office of the Federal Gathering issued a statement yesterday expressing its support for the U.S. sanctions imposed on the leader of the Rapid Support Forces. The statement described the sanctions as an important step to stop the war and the horrific violations committed by these forces against the Sudanese people in every city and village they entered. The statement called for further serious actions from the international community, including banning arms supplies and logistical support to the RSF, and classifying them as terrorist organizations threatening international peace and security.
