Sudan Events – Follow-up
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, arrived on Friday in the city of Atbara, in the River Nile State, accompanied by the Director General of the Defense Industries System, Lieutenant General Mergani Idris.
Al-Burhan, addressing the people of Atbara during his visit to the River Nile State, said: “We will win and punish all those who wronged the Sudanese people.”
He saluted the resilience of the Sudanese people in the face of the challenges facing the country and their support for the armed forces as they fight the battle for dignity and honor against the terrorist militia of the Al-Daqlo family. He emphasized that the battle to defeat the rebellion will continue, saying, “This is the battle of the Sudanese people, and we are fighting by their order and for their sake.”
The Chairman of the Sovereign Council added that no matter how much countries and enemies conspire against us, we will ultimately win.
