The Sudanese army made significant progress in the city of Khartoum Bahri on Sunday and is close to taking control of its center. This comes amid withdrawals by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) from several locations.
Sources from Bahri and several remaining residents told Sudan Tribune that the RSF had withdrawn heavy artillery and anti-aircraft weapons from the Maouna Street and the neighborhoods of Central Bahri, including Al-Mazad, Al-Khatmiyya, and Hilla Khawajli.
Residents of Bahri confirmed to Sudan Tribune on Sunday that they saw RSF infantry columns heading towards Haj Yousif and East Nile on Air Street passing through the industrial area, reaching Maigoma, Ashqala, and Station 24.
