22 People Killed in Militia Attacks on Villages East of El Fasher

Authorities in North Darfur state announced on Sunday that at least 22 people were killed and dozens injured in violent attacks by the Rapid Support Forces militia on villages east of El Fasher.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Health in North Darfur, Ibrahim Khater, told Sudan Tribune that “the preliminary toll from the attacks by the Rapid Support Forces militia on Um Kadada and its surrounding villages was about 22 dead and more than 20 injured.”
He revealed a large wave of displacement from the villages of “Broush” and “Jabal Hilla,” as well as some residents of the city of Um Kadada.
