Energy Ministry Congratulates on Refinery Liberation, Lifting Siege of the Leadership, and Victory in Al-Fasher

Sudan Events – Follow-ups
The Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohieddin Naeem, and the employees of the ministry congratulated the Sudanese people on the victories of the armed forces during the Friday of Victory, which included the liberation of the Khartoum refinery, the lifting of the siege on the General Command, and the victories in Al-Fasher, as well as the meeting of the armies from Omdurman and Kadro at the Signals Corps in Bahri.
The ministry hailed the brave soldiers and their leaders, who proudly raised their heads for their actions during the Friday battle, a scene that will be passed down to future generations as a tale of honor and resilience, to be studied in military academies as an example of urban warfare.
It confirmed that Sudan does not surrender nor is it defeated, as our forces heroically defended its honor, sovereignty, land, and dignity. These moments are added to the modern history of Sudan, representing the sacrifices of its heroic sons—giving their lives and blood for Sudan. This proves that victory always belongs to the heroes and the just.
The ministry stated that the greatness of this victory goes beyond the battlefield, as it not only involves reclaiming a vital economic or military facility, but also restoring national dignity.
It was emphasized that this day is a living testament that Sudan is being reborn, stronger, more resilient, and more determined to protect its land, dignity, and resources.
The ministry concluded by saying, “At the Ministry of Energy and Oil, we affirm that we will spare no effort until Sudan regains its glory and its status as a proud, productive, and oil-exporting nation through its seaports and land routes.”
