The Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Mr. Khaled Abdel-Fagar Al-Sheikh, reassured the availability of security in the locality away from the hands of the rebellion.
He declared their keenness to start the school year in Shendi Locality, and criticized the voices calling for stopping the school year, stressing their keenness to provide alternative shelter centers for the displaced people who live in schools that respect humanity and preserve privacy. He spoke to “Expats,” revealing the naming of a large shelter center in the “Housh Banga” area, which provides electricity, water, bathrooms, and studies, in addition to providing an opportunity to practice their economic life. (Monday) in Shendi Local Presidency Hall, with media professionals from Shendi Locality with their various specializations, and in the presence of the local Security Committee. “We, as a security committee, will not forcefully remove a person from schools, but rather through an initiative to propose an alternative.” Said Mr. Khaled.
The Executive Director confirmed that the police or prosecution records did not include a single case of the guests, as confirmed the presence of guarding the shelter centers.
The Executive Director revealed that they proposed a number of investment projects within the framework of attracting investments, noting that local resources were promoted through the Investment Forum, announcing the arrival of a large number of investments to the locality.
He announced support for the Khartoum Media Association in Shindi and pledged to provide them with housing, as well as providing cooking gas, in addition to accommodating media cadres in the institutions and administrations of the city of Shindi.
For his part, Shendi local police director, Colonel Al-Amin Abdul Qadir, confirmed the stability of security in the city of Shendi, stressing that the area is free of members of the rebel Rapid Support militia, as he said that it is difficult for them, indicating that it is the only area in which there is no Rapid Support camp.
