New Increase in Allowances for Port Workers

The Workers’ Union of the Sea Ports Corporation has announced good news for employees in the new year.

It revealed that the Civil Service Bureau in Port Sudan has approved an increase in allowances within salaries.

The revised housing allowance will now range from 75,000 SDG for the highest job grades to 30,000 SDG for the lowest.

Additionally, the meal allowance has been increased from 7,700 SDG to 90,000 SDG for all employees, effective January.
