The commander of the Al-Baraa Bin Malik Brigade, Al-Misbah Abu Zaid Talha, confirmed that the entire East Nile locality is now free of rebellion. In a Facebook post, he stated, “Only a few neighborhoods in Omdurman’s Umbadda locality, along with parts of Khartoum and Jebel Aulia, remain to be liberated before securing the capital.”
On Monday, the army and its supporting forces took control of the Manshiyya Bridge from the eastern side.
