Request to Receive Reports from Farmers in Gezira and Gedaref

The Supreme Committee for the Reconstruction of War-Damaged Areas has requested the police departments in Gezira and Gedaref states to receive reports from farmers.

In a decision signed by the committee’s rapporteur, Ahmed Hassan Abu Assar, the request was made based on the Transitional Cabinet’s decision No. 17, which established a committee for the Agricultural Research and the Rahad Agricultural Authorities. As a result, the committee called for the opening of reports from farmers and for compiling a list of stolen and damaged items due to the war. The request also emphasizes the need for a criminal report to be issued in the police stations of Gezira and Gedaref states to receive reports from farmers in the Gezira and Rahad agricultural projects to carry out the survey and monitoring.
