The army has made advances in the Al-Salha area of Omdurman following fierce battles against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), while the RSF launched a campaign of arrests among civilians under the pretext of collaboration with the armed forces, according to field sources.
Field sources told Ultra Sudan that the army achieved progress and breakthroughs in the Al-Salha area, south of Omdurman.
The sources indicated that the army’s control over areas surrounding Al-Salha marks the beginning of the collapse of Hemeti’s forces in the region and the southern rural villages, which have suffered from violations.
A field source stated that the armed forces are now only a short distance away from fully controlling the Al-Salha area in Omdurman.
