Shelling by the Rapid Support Forces militia on areas in El Fasher, the capital of Darfur region, resulted in 35 people killed and injured, according to local sources.
Colonel Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, the official spokesperson for the Joint Forces of Armed Movements, told Al Jazeera that 14 people were killed and 21 wounded due to the militia’s shelling of the Nevesha popular market and the Abu Shouk IDP camp in El Fasher.
