President of the Transitional Sovereign Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, extended his Eid al-Adha greetings to the Sudanese people and all Muslims.
In his address on the occasion of Eid, Al-Burhan said:
“I extend my sincere congratulations to our proud people and to all Muslims on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, wishing that the next Eid will come when our country is fully secure, united in its people and territory, with the banners of victory flying high.”
He praised the Sudanese people for their examples of sacrifice, selflessness, and solidarity, saying that they have walked the path of pride and dignity to defend the unity and security of the homeland.
“You have all my respect as you stand in sincere national positions, raising the banner of pride: One People, One Army, One Nation,” he added.
He concluded:
“With you and through you, we will move forward together to liberate our country from all aggressors. You are the ones who began shaping history—you are the makers of glory. Salute to those who gave their lives in sacrifice for this homeland.”
