Lavrov Meets Top Diplomats of OIC, Arab League states

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov meets some of his counterparts from the countries of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Moscow today Tuesday to discuss the situation around the Gaza Strip, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Monday.
She said a meeting of Russian Foreign Minister [Sergey] Lavrov with delegations from foreign ministries of a number of Arab League and OIC countries is scheduled to be held in Moscow Tuesday.
Hamas described its attack as a response to Israeli authorities’ aggressive actions against the Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. Israel declared a total blockade of the Gaza Strip and launched bombardments of the enclave and some areas in Lebanon and Syria, as well as a ground operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Clashes are also reported in the West Bank
