On Tuesday, Northern State Governor, Lt. Gen. Abdel Rahman Abdel Hamid Ibrahim, issued Decision No. 53 for the year 2025, terminating the assignment of Administrative Officer Hassan Hussein Ali Hussein from overseeing the duties of the Executive Director of Merowe Locality.
The decision appointed Administrative Officer Dafallah Mohamed Siddiq Abdel Qader as the new Executive Director of Merowe Locality.
The governor directed the General Secretariat of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and Manpower, the Local Governance Bureau, Merowe Locality, and all relevant bodies to implement the decision.
