Prime Minister Dr. Kamal Idris has directed both public and private universities to extend the university admission application period to allow students more time to apply to the programs that align with their aspirations.
He instructed the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to follow up on the matter with university administrations to ensure the extension is implemented smoothly and fairly.
He also urged the Ministry of Education to expedite the issuance of high school certificates to facilitate students’ ability to complete their application processes in a timely manner.
Dr. Idris stressed that education is a fundamental right and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting students and empowering them to build their future through knowledge and learning.
