The Federal Ministry of Health has completed its cholera vaccination campaign in Sennar locality, successfully vaccinating 537,910 people by the ninth day of the campaign. The ministry announced upcoming campaigns targeting several other localities across different states.
Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Abdullah, acting director of the General Directorate of Primary Health Care, stated during the campaign’s closing meeting in Kassala on Sunday that the people of Sennar played a major role in the campaign’s success, thanks to their awareness of the importance of vaccination, which greatly supported the field teams.
