At least 32 civilians were killed in the village of Breima Al-Rasheed, north of Al-Nuhud in West Kordofan State, following an attack by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia on Thursday morning, according to the Dar Hamar Emergency Room, which described the incident as a “massacre.” This marks the second attack on the village in just two days.
The Emergency Room stated that the latest assault came only hours after a previous attack that left three civilians dead and 14 others wounded. The Sudanese Doctors Network confirmed the death toll and described the incident as a “new crime” in a continuing series of violations perpetrated by the RSF against civilians.
Dar Hamar Emergency Room published the names of the civilians killed in the most recent attack, noting that villagers rose up to defend themselves against the RSF’s assaults.
