Finance Minister Inspects Sorghum Stock in Central Darfur

Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, inspected the stockpile of sorghum designated for affected populations in Central Darfur and beyond. He also reviewed the status of salary transfers and their distribution across localities, as well as the financial support provided to the state through the Federal Governance Ministry.

During his meeting with the governor of Central Darfur on Thursday, the minister pledged to address the state’s overdue financial transfers in coordination with the relevant authorities.

Ibrahim also discussed the security and humanitarian situation in the state with the governor, who presented his plan for the state’s reconstruction in the coming period.
