Defense Minister Lt. Gen. Hassan Daoud Kabroun visited the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority as part of his inspection tour of government agencies under the Ministry of Defense, assessing ongoing preparations for the gradual resumption of work in the capital, Khartoum.
The visit comes within the framework of joint coordination efforts among government bodies to ensure the safety and efficiency of restoring air traffic.
During the meeting, officials discussed the necessary arrangements for reopening airports and coordinating efforts across various relevant departments, including security and technical preparations. The minister stressed the importance of joint efforts to guarantee air traffic safety, noting that restoring airport operations is a vital step in the government’s plan to return life to normal in Khartoum.
