Interior Minister Gen. Babiker Samra chaired the fifth meeting of the Committee for Security Control and Enforcement of State Authority in the capital.
The meeting reviewed the report of the committee tasked with removing armed groups from Khartoum State. The report confirmed that several armed movements had already started redeploying their forces to areas outside the state.
Meanwhile, Khartoum’s Committee for the Removal of Informal Housing revealed its plan for demolition, the targeted locations, and the level of implementation across localities.
In a related development, the Security Control and State Authority Enforcement Committee urged the swift execution of the decision to relocate refugees from the capital to proposed sites.
