Nile River Standards Authority Examines and Stamps Over Two Tons of Gold

Dr. Ahmed Sayed Omar, Director of the Nile River Standards Sector, announced that 2.5 tons of gold and locally made jewelry were inspected and stamped during the first half of the year. This included 1,103 gold bars weighing 2,584,272.1 grams and jewelry totaling 52,342.5 grams, for a combined total of 2,636,614.6 grams.

He stated that the sector is fully equipped to handle any quantity of gold products, boasting state-of-the-art global testing, analysis, and stamping equipment. He also revealed that more than 63 artisanal mining companies were served during the recent period.
