Sudan’s Minister of Culture, Information, and Tourism, Khalid Al-Ieisir, received Russia’s Ambassador to Sudan, Andrei Chernovol, at his office on Sunday.
The two sides discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in the fields of culture, media, and tourism between the two countries.
During the meeting, the Russian ambassador delivered an official invitation from Russia’s Minister of Culture, Olga Lyubimova, to Minister Al-Ieisir to participate in the “Forum of United Cultures,” scheduled for next September in St. Petersburg.
Both sides affirmed their commitment to enhancing cultural, media, and tourism relations, supporting partnerships in relevant sectors, activating previous agreements, and developing a strategy for new accords that meet current requirements and advance shared interests.
