
Member of Sudan’s Sovereign Council, Dr. Salma Abdeljabbar Al-Mubarak, praised the strong and evolving relations between Sudan and Qatar, as well as Doha’s consistent support for Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and rejection of interference in its internal affairs.
During her meeting with Qatar’s Ambassador to Sudan, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Sada, on Sunday, she commended Qatar’s efforts to strengthen cooperation with the Sudanese government and humanitarian organizations, enabling them to carry out relief programs and activities. She also highlighted Doha’s ongoing contributions to humanitarian aid and funding for Sudan’s humanitarian response plan.
Dr. Al-Mubarak expressed Sudan’s gratitude to the Qatari government and people, noting that Qatar was among the first countries to deliver emergency assistance through continuous air bridges and to support development and health projects in Sudan.
For his part, the Qatari envoy reaffirmed his country’s commitment to continuing its humanitarian and fraternal duty by providing all forms of support to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people.
