Military sources revealed that the Sudanese army conducted a successful air-drop operation on Monday involving the 14th and 22nd divisions in Kadugli and Babonosa, in South and West Kordofan states.
According to sources cited by Al-Tera Sudan, the operation lasted approximately 40 minutes, delivering military supplies, food, medical equipment, and salaries for officers and soldiers.
Local sources in Kadugli reported that the operation helped ease the city’s cash shortage, as it included salary payments for employees. Previously, merchants demanded cash-only payments, but with the renewed availability, transactions can now also be made via the “Bankak” mobile application.
