Gezira Scheme: 25,000 Pounds per Feddan in Crop Transportation Fees

The management of the Gezira Agricultural Scheme has imposed new fees on farmers for transporting crops during the 2025–2026 season, setting the rate at 25,000 Sudanese pounds per feddan, according to a circular obtained by Al-Ahdath.

The notice, signed by the Scheme’s Director of Accounts, Osman Saad Abdullah, instructed farmers to record the cultivated areas for each crop in order to determine the required payments and to begin immediate collection.
