On Saturday, Sudanese military jets and drones carried out heavy airstrikes targeting RSF positions in North Kordofan State.
Military sources told Al-Sudani newspaper that strikes focused on Bara, Kazgeil, and Um Sumaymah. The attacks killed at least 200 RSF fighters and mercenaries, destroyed hundreds of combat vehicles, and wiped out command-and-control facilities.
Sources said the air campaign is part of a broader strategy to crush the insurgency and restore full control over contested areas. They emphasized that the strikes were highly precise, significantly weakening the RSF’s military infrastructure.
