Cabinet Completes Procedures for Alternative Ministry Premises

The Ministry of Cabinet Affairs has completed the process of receiving alternative premises for federal ministries in Khartoum State, as part of efforts aligned with the Supreme Sovereign Committee tasked with preparing for the federal government’s return to Khartoum.

According to the Sudan News Agency (SUNA), the committee stated in its report that it had taken delivery of the new ministry buildings based on lists provided by the Sovereign Council’s specialized committee. All assets within the buildings were recorded, and needs identified, including maintenance, rehabilitation, and upgrades to ensure ministries can immediately resume work from their new locations.

The committee was formed under Decision No. 20/2025 by Cabinet Affairs Minister Dr. Lamiya Abdelgafar, and is chaired by Hashim Mohamed Ali El-Tahir, Director General of Government Properties.
