Joint Forces: Massacre Signals “All-Out War Against Civilians”

The Joint Forces of Armed Struggle Movements described the El-Fasher mosque attack as “a moral atrocity that adds to the RSF’s repeated crimes against civilians.”

In a statement, the coalition said the strike killed more than 70 worshippers and left nearly 10 others wounded, including elders and children, in a scene that “defies both humanity and religion.”

“This barbaric crime carried out by the terrorist militia is a clear declaration of all-out war against civilians,” the statement continued, warning that El-Fasher in its entirety is being treated as a target, with no sanctuary left, not even houses of worship.

The Joint Forces accused the RSF of waging “a genocidal war against the city’s residents,” arguing that the militia turned to attacking civilians after failing militarily in over 243 assaults and a siege lasting more than 18 months.

Addressing the RSF directly, the statement added: “Our bases and defensive positions are well known to you, as are the battlefronts. Confront us there, instead of targeting civilians.”
