The El Fasher Resistance Committees reported that the city has been subjected to heavy artillery shelling across all areas since early Friday morning.
In a statement, the committees said, “El Fasher has become an open morgue, bleeding from every direction since dawn, subjected to deliberate, intense shelling that spares nothing—homes, markets, hospitals, and even shelters that were the last hope for displaced persons and the homeless.”
They added, “Shells fall like rain, sparing neither sleeping children nor mothers praying for divine protection. Homes are destroyed over residents’ heads, markets turned to ash, and bodies are retrieved from rubble with no names or faces—just numbers in a long record of massacres.”
