UN Delivers Aid to Kauda

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced on Sunday that it had successfully delivered life-saving medical supplies to Kauda, the stronghold of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement–North (SPLM–N) in South Kordofan.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), UNICEF said: “Life-saving health supplies have finally reached Kauda, one of the hardest-to-access areas in Sudan.”

The agency noted that the two-truck convoy arrived after a three-day journey through difficult terrain, and the delivery was part of UNICEF’s cholera response efforts expected to benefit around 15,000 people.
