The town of Delami in South Kordofan, under army control, has witnessed a worrying escalation in drone strikes, causing civilian casualties and spreading fear among residents.
Local resident Omar Ibrahim Al-Di told Darfur24 that four civilians were killed and others injured in varying degrees on Saturday, following drone attacks on residential areas in Delami.
He explained that the strikes occurred suddenly, causing significant loss of life and property. Omar added that airstrikes resumed on Sunday morning, targeting three locations within the town, including the army command in Delami.
