Army and Joint Forces Repel New RSF Attack on Al-Fashir

Military sources reported renewed clashes on Tuesday between the Sudanese army and RSF militia in Al-Fashir, the capital of North Darfur.

Sources told Ultra Sudan that the army and the joint forces successfully repelled an RSF attack on the medical arms depot of the Sixth Infantry Division.

The clashes began Tuesday morning with heavy artillery fire from RSF targeting various parts of Al-Fashir, including forward positions of the division’s command. The army responded with artillery and drones, destroying several combat vehicles and killing dozens of attackers.

Ahmed Hussein Mustafa, spokesperson for the joint forces, told Ultra Sudan that the RSF attempts daily to attack Al-Fashir but “suffer defeat each time.” He confirmed that the city and its defenders remain secure and vowed that “the army, joint forces, and popular resistance will not rest until the terrorist militia is defeated across Sudan.”
