Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Chairman and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived in Cairo on Wednesday for an official visit. He was received at Al-Ittihadiya Palace by Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
The two leaders held joint talks that focused on bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation across various sectors, as well as developments in Sudan and issues of mutual interest.
The discussions underscored the depth and strength of the historic ties between the two countries and the importance of reinforcing and expanding them to serve their mutual interests and the well-being of both peoples.
Accompanying Al-Burhan were Foreign Minister Muhi El-Din Salem and Intelligence Chief Lt. Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
