Darfur Governor Minni Arkou Minaoui stated that attacks on El Fasher, the capital of North Darfur, by the RSF amount to genocide.
In an interview with Sudan TV, Minaoui accused the “rebel militia” of targeting civilian gatherings, including women and children. He also confirmed ongoing efforts to lift the siege on El Fasher.
