Cabinet Technical Committees Approve First Phase of New Budget Draft

The joint meeting of the Cabinet’s specialized technical committees on Wednesday approved, in its first phase, the 2026 emergency state budget presented by Abdallah Ibrahim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance.

Meeting at the Cabinet Hall in Port Sudan under Ali Mohamed Ali, Secretary-General of the Cabinet, the committees offered observations and recommended approval after incorporating feedback, paving the way for submission to the Cabinet for final endorsement.
