“Sudan Doctors Network”: Militia Kills 200 Civilians in Darfur

The Sudan Doctors Network reported on Saturday that RSF militias have killed 200 people, including women and children, in three areas in West and North Darfur.

According to the network, survivor testimonies received in displacement camps in Chad’s Al-Tina area confirmed that more than 200 individuals—men, women, and children—were targeted and killed based on ethnicity in Ambro, Sarba, and Abu Qumra following RSF attacks. The network described these acts as blatant violations of international humanitarian law.

These atrocities have triggered large waves of displacement toward Chad, where refugees face critical humanitarian challenges, including acute food and water shortages, deteriorating healthcare services, and lack of safe shelter, endangering thousands, particularly children, women, and the elderly.

The network warned that continued violations would push thousands more civilians into Chad in what could become the largest refugee movement in the region. It urged immediate cessation of attacks and unrestricted humanitarian access to provide essential medical and relief aid.
