
The Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lt. Gen. Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, on Monday met at his office in Khartoum with Dr. Kamil Idris, Prime Minister.
The meeting included a comprehensive review of the current situation and the challenges facing the country amid the ongoing exceptional circumstances. Discussions focused on state efforts to provide essential services and ensure decent living conditions for citizens.
The meeting also reviewed the “Hope Government’s” plan and its strategic vision aimed at preparing the necessary infrastructure and service environment to facilitate the return of citizens to Khartoum State.
Both sides agreed on the importance of concerted official and popular efforts to translate these plans into action on the ground and to overcome all obstacles hindering development and service delivery in the coming phase.
