The European Union has reiterated its support for Sudan’s unity and its rejection of any parallel governments.
It emphasized the importance of a humanitarian truce and a ceasefire to protect civilians and pave the way for a political process.
Wolfram Vetter, Head of the European Union Delegation to Sudan, said in a post on the EU’s official Facebook page: “I am pleased to participate, together with the EU Special Representative Annette Weber, in the fifth consultative mechanism for peace efforts in Sudan.”
