“Rather, swallow the Islamists.”

Moatasim Aqra
The lethal slogan of the Forces of Freedom and Change (FFC), once again:
It is said that between 2019 and 2021, the people asked the FFC to “swallow the Islamists and solve the people’s problems.” Instead, the FFC swallowed the people and solved the Islamists’ problems. Weeks ago, the FFC launched a campaign calling on Trump to designate the Sudanese Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization (whether before or after he “fixes” Venezuela, Greenland, and Iran, and annexes Canada). Trump then issued a decree in mid-January that swallows all Sudanese—barring them from obtaining U.S. immigrant visas—without mentioning the Islamists at all.
A post from 2021
Dr. Yasser Youssef wrote:
“Once upon a time there was a barber who did circumcisions on the side. He carried his circumcision tools to the shop. If someone came wanting a haircut, he’d cut his hair; if someone brought a child for circumcision, he’d circumcise him.
One day, your uncle came driving his son. Finding the shop full of customers, he told the barber: ‘I’m heading to the market and will be back—after you’re done, give this boy a haircut.’ Your uncle went off, bought vegetables and meat, and returned carrying the basket (back when vegetables were carried in baskets). He found his son sitting there crying, blood streaming from him. He shouted at the barber: ‘What did you do to my boy?’
The barber replied: ‘I circumcised him because I found two kids and remembered one was for circumcision and the other for a haircut—so I circumcised one and cut the other’s hair.’
Your uncle looked at the barber and said: ‘If you had any sense at all, wouldn’t the one brought for circumcision be poor and plainly dressed?’
Now we told the FFC: swallow the Islamists and solve the people’s problems. They swallowed the people and solved the Islamists’ problems. By God, there are poor, hungry people who need swallowing. Folks, may God guide us and guide you—focus a little so the revolution isn’t lost.
And peace to you, O homeland.”
