Chinese Company Pledges Urgent Supply of Mobile Emergency Substations

Minister of Energy, Engineer and Advisor Al-Mu‘tasim Ibrahim Ahmed, has called for the expedited supply of hydroelectric generation transformers.

During his meeting in Cairo with the Regional Director of China’s C-Yuan Energy Company, the minister urged the addition of more transformers. The two sides agreed that the company would conduct field visits to power stations affected by the war in Sudan. They also agreed on the urgent supply of mobile emergency substations.

For his part, the Director General of the National Engineering and Energy Company, Engineer Badr Al-Din Al-Feel, affirmed that the national company will carry out the supplies in accordance with the requirements of the Electricity Corporation and within the agreed timeline, noting that the company provides strategic support for project implementation in cooperation with the Sudan Electricity Holding Company.
