Sudan to Grant Saudi Companies Priority in Reconstruction Projects

Sudan’s Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Saif Al-Nasr Al-Tijani, affirmed during his meeting with Saudi Ambassador Ali bin Hassan Ahmed Jaafar that Sudan is keen to grant priority to Saudi companies in reconstruction projects, particularly in the ports and railways sectors.

He also highlighted opportunities for partnership in the development of Sudan Airways through technical and investment cooperation with Saudi companies, as part of a broader plan to rebuild the national carrier.

The two sides discussed the development of maritime and land transport, the activation of bilateral agreements, and the completion of arrangements for convening joint ministerial committees between the two countries.
