Signing of Partnership Agreement Between Khartoum State Agriculture Ministry and Sudan Currency Printing Press
The Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Resources and Irrigation in Khartoum State, Dr. Sir Al-Khatim Fadl Al-Mawla Abdul Latif, on Wednesday signed a partnership and cooperation agreement between the ministry and Sudan Currency Printing Press Co. Ltd.
The signing took place in the presence of the Assistant Director General for Animal Resources, Dr. Lubna Jaafar, the ministry’s legal advisor, and the company’s representative, the General Manager of the Omdurman Sector, Habib Babo Abdullah.
The partnership aims to print five million poultry inspection and examination stickers for 2026, with printing to be carried out in batches throughout the year.
This step comes as part of the ministry’s efforts to strengthen the poultry sector, which has largely recovered after the war, in addition to improving the quality of poultry products and increasing the number of commercial slaughterhouses operating in the sector.
