Prime Minister Professor Kamel Idris expressed Sudan’s appreciation for the significant role played by the Arab League in supporting the country’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
His remarks came during a meeting on Saturday with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, which the Prime Minister is attending.
The meeting addressed developments in Sudan and the efforts undertaken by the “Government of Hope” to achieve peace and stability, create conditions conducive to the return of citizens, and restore normal life.
For his part, Aboul Gheit reaffirmed the Arab League’s full support for Sudan’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.
